About the Role
Align’s Indianapolis office is looking to add a Professional Land Surveyor to our team to help to continue to strengthen our land surveying services offered to our clients. As a P.S. at Align, you will be responsible for helping build our survey department as a leader and a problem solver. A P.S. at Align will complete a variety of surveys for municipal, public works, INDOT and Aviation projects. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of boundary, topographic, ALTA, Route surveys, and right of way engineering. Additionally, this individual also will also provide day-to-day management and supervision of survey projects and be a part of preparing proposals, fee negotiations, and contracts.
The P.S. will communicate in professional manner with clients and internal employees regularly. He or she will be a lead survey crews and technicians and be able to give them direction and technical guidance. This individual will review the surveying work of other surveying staff members for quality and accuracy. This position will be based out of Align’s Indianapolis office or work remotely.

Requirements
A current Professional Surveyor License in Indiana (or ability to quickly obtain within 1 to 3 years)
Proficient in a current version of AutoCAD/C3D, MicroStation / ORD and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of construction staking, and calculations associated with staking
Valid driver’s license
